How Do You SEE Your Problem?

View Point

God has a plan for your life that is bigger than you can imagine. He makes it so big that you cannot possibly do it on your own. God reveals His plans, power, purposes, and desires by speaking to you. When God speaks, He is imprinting an image on your heart. If you can see it, God can bring it to pass.

God wants you to see yourself bigger than the challenge you are facing right now.

Moses had the seemingly impossible task of asking the most powerful man in the world to release all the Hebrew people from slavery. However Moses still saw himself as a fugitive.

So the Lord said to Moses: “SEE, I have made you as God to Pharaoh, and Aaron your brother shall be your prophet. Exodus 7:1 New King James Version (NKJV) [author’s emphasis added]

When God is working with you and for you, your circumstances are dealing with God Himself!! If Moses didn’t SEE himself that way God did, he would have been pleading and negotiating with Pharaoh instead of making demands. God could not see Moses being defeat as long as He was with Moses. God only had one problem: Moses had to SEE things the same way God did!! God even provided a person to help Moses speak to Pharaoh.

God didn’t factor in the power of Pharaoh, the size of his army, or his inflated ego. There has never been a person, circumstance, or situation that has ever had more power than God. When you acknowledge that He’s with you, you cannot be defeated. You may appear delayed, but with God you cannot be denied.

You may not be facing a human 9 foot (2.7 meters) tall giant named Goliath, but we have all faced some kind of “Goliath” in our lives. No matter what form of Goliath you face (sickness, lack of finances, or personal setbacks), when you know God is with you, you possess all the power necessary to overcome your giant. Until you SEE yourself the way God sees you, you will never respond to a crisis the right way.

Allow the following verses from Romans 8 to encourage you to see yourself the way God does.

…If God is for us, who can be against us? v.31

…Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? v.35

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,  nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. v.38-39

Take time today to meditate the scriptures above to develop the victorious image that God has of you.

I pray you have been Enlightened by the Word of God. Be blessed!!
